Welcome to In
the Evidence!
I’m Ahmarie Holmes, your host and your new favorite cousin. This podcast is where we dive into the inspiring evidence of Jesus Christ—one testimony at a time. I’m all about sharing authentic stories, uplifting faith, and glorifying God by showcasing the fruit of what Hebrews 11 calls “the reality of what we hope for; the evidence of things we cannot see.”
I’m a proud South Florida native and a 2023 graduate of Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU), where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism. During my time at FAMU, I produced and directed Baby Food Unknown, a documentary that followed three mothers navigating a baby food crisis (yes, it was as intense as it sounds), and I worked as a multimedia journalist for North Florida and South Georgia’s News 20.
For the past eight years, I’ve also been pursuing acting. You might’ve seen me as Lisa on Tyler Perry’s House of Payne on BET or caught me on networks like OWN, HULU, FOX, USA, Hallmark, and Lifetime. My life has been a wild, faith-filled ride, with God leading me every step of the way—from acting to starting this podcast. Fun fact: this podcast was birthed during one of my off-seasons when I asked God how I could steward my time better. Spoiler alert: He delivered.
He delivered.
My mission, &
my passion
Obedience is my personal mission, and my passion is using my gifts to honor Jesus Christ by building His Kingdom through love, grace, and truth—and having a blast while doing it. Fashion is my love language (I mean, “I get it from my momma”—or is that just a millennial thing?), and I’m here for creating experiences that make people smile, whether it’s hosting family, friends, or even strangers. I also have a serious love for laughter—the kind that shows all my teeth and counts as cardio. Oh, and get this: I can jump rope with my arms. Ridiculous? Yes. But hey, doesn’t the Bible say God uses the foolish things?
